[SOUL QUEEN]
THE MUSIC FOR THIS PIECE...

You have become the core of the flames that burn in the furnace of a dislocated African soul.
Free in Babylon roaming on hyped up Africanality... a black man mentality.
Drifting on the winds, rains and waves of an empress in this naturality.
Where the sun shines on these days and the childrens laughter fills the air. Bouncing off of brick walls.
Mothers who struggle to raise good children in the face of all this mess.. brothers who try to live like men when all they have left is a trail of tears.
Is happiness but a dream... some Willie Wonka shit that other people have?
As your aura washes over the burned out trees and ashes that already sprout new life in shades of green.
Testaments to the power of soul queens in this span of human existence where we have been placed.
A whisper that speeds by on a cybertronic highway in the funk filled membranes of a southern poetic scribe.
Electrical impulses that spark in the synapses and flicker to fingertips causing ink to drip... drip... drip.
Weight of a thousand worlds as you condence in the physicality of we.
Queen.

Lately I have been seeing things that just dont seem to add up. Newt Gingrich is clearly one of the most racist white politicians in the race for presidency in the U.S. today, yet he appeals to a growing number of the white masses. What seems to be happening is a shift to the metaphorical right, yet if you really look at it is it a shift or is it just a whole lot of white people finally admitting who they are. In my eyes not much has changed for black people since slavery. Many of us have the exact same mindset. Depending on massa for everything that we get. Thinking that we have to work for him and then turn around and spend every penny that we make right back with him while he sits his fat metaphorical ass around and lives off of our labor.
What Newt Gingrich is doing is playing on the same fears that were played on in the Birth of a Nation {which is featured in the link here} http://youtu.be/iEznh2JZvrI
. These fears are implanted in white people very young and seem to exist on a subconscious level in most of the white people that I have met. Even the ones who hang around blacks. Its much harder to not have prejudice when you have lived in a society that was founded and remains based on prejudice, especially when you are born to the so called ruling elite.
After the playing of the movie above the ranks of the K.K.K. increased 20 fold in one night. The nation went on high alert against the threat of the darky, and hangings and murder increased. Right now we still suffer because of these fears. Think about it. Who do the so called Boom box Laws affect? Weed and seed? Even the patriot act figures into this equation where there are no rights in the black neighborhoods of Amerikkka. Where you are guilty until proven innocent and Allah help you if your crime was commited against a white person.
Newt Gingrich should be tried and convicted for committing a hate crime yet he is being deified and paraded in the face of all people of color and white as the solution. I mean thats how I see it and you can see that shit anyway you wanna but to me Newt might as well be wearing a hood and a damn sheet right now. It is only when we begin to see things as they truly are when we will begin to move onto the playing field not as pawns but as kings and queens. It is time that we formed our own governments and sought our piece of this stolen land that so many of our ancestors died on. Unappreciated and villified if only for the color of their skin. Where so many of our inventions make life so much easier for so many other people. Where the police exist only as an invading force.
Yet Newt is not the only problem. There are so many more and I will try to bring them to your attention as I present this series which I am breaking into small bites so that it can be digested comfortably.
Once again this is Hamzah Faruq coming from the south and bringing hot ass fyah.

[AN ALTERNATE BLACK STORY] A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL COURSE PLAN [PART TWO]
THE MUSIC FOR THIS CLASS...
http://youtu.be/-6P8ZuRkK5o

Who are we?
What is our identity?
These are two questions that always seem to pop up whenever I think of the story of the modern seperated African. Living in the south and having traveled I have met a whole lot of different kinds of folks and seen a whole lotta stuff that makes no sense.
In the piece I posted the other day I showed the hero Nat turner and I expected exactly what happened which is nothing. It has been drilled into the Africans in Amerikkka to not try to introduce new heros. To not see our heros as heros. This state is so pervading that a whole lot of black people just can't see past it.
If black people were to truly take a look at other societies which have come back from the brink so to speak they would see that the heros of these said societies do not comform to the views of the people who oppressed or enslaved them. Amerikkkan blacks or whatever the white man has said is okay are the only people who look to their former oppressors for their heros, their people to look up to and mold themselves after.
For anyone to say that they do not have any heros is contradictory to everything that man is and ever was. The prophets in the quran and bible are heros and are looked to for guidance if a person is guided that way.
What I am trying to do in this series is to point out ways of thinking that are inconducive to the building of our society, the teaching of our youth.
When I was in the third grade I stopped pledging the flag. I was singled out time and time again because I would not stand up for the pledge.I just could'nt see myself saluting a rag that had flown when my ancestors were still slaves and when they had lived under the yoke of segregation. To this day I cringe when I see a black man saluting the flag.
Fuck the flag... It does not and has not ever represented us.
See I do not see like I am told to see, I see as it should be. That is freedom and it is something that does not come cheap.
There are things that I have lost and things that have passed me by all because of the way that I think, but I can say this much. I aint nobodies slave and or bitch.
Scared to speak... scared to think.
So in closing I just wanna say you aint got to read it but I do have to tell it.
PEACE!!!

[WALKING MAN]
THE MUSIC FOR THIS PIECE OF PEACE...
http://youtu.be/TZxGGk_5vOM

As a man doth walk these roads where he was birthed doth he transgress... scenes long past that rage in remembrance.
The touch of a grandmother on a grandsons cheek in an enviroment of learning... yearning and burning.
Metamorphosis observed as tadpoles transgressed into frogs, catapillars that spread their wet wings, fresh from cacoons.
As it relates to man who evolves it seems in reverse... bodies that line the roads in cemetery after cemetery.
Rows and ranks... flags and tags.
The gentle sound of patoi that lingers in the air... children playing in the streets.
Days that seem to have faded away to vacant lots and lost souls in babylon... cheap gin and crack cocaine revelations.
The ancestors bones that cry to be heard by this generation as it careens towards the edge of oblivion... forgotten ways that drift away on the wings of time.
360 degrees in transition... verbalvision precision.
For the beginning and the end are the strongest things.
A man doth walk these roads in retrospect.

[AN ALTERNATE BLACK STORY] A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL COURSE PLAN. [PART ONE]THE MUSIC FOR THIS LESSON...http://youtu.be/77M2cE9M8BI
In this installment of our course plan we will explore what a hero really is. I will come at this from a lot of different ways and I encourage elaborations from the readers.First lets give an example of a hero as he has been introduced to us by the white man.To the white man a hero is someone who does whatever it takes to benefit the white race. No matter what the means.Take for instance the great Amerikkkan hero Andrew Jackson who is idolized on the 20 dollar bill and who was called old hickory cause he would whup that ass. That in itself is not a bad thing but Andrew Jackson also had a dark partner and he was a homocidal murderer who wore the skin of one of his victims on his feet. He killed hundreds of native Americans and Africans during his year as a general. Most of them in cold blooded contempt.Yet every thing he did, he did for the Amerikkkan interest. That is what made him a hero to the white folks. There are examples of this in African history as well.Nat Turner was a hero. He fought for African freedom in a world where Africans were viewed as even beneath the animals. Now lets take a deep look at the way that Nat's rebellion is worded whenever you read it from the white mans standpoint. What Nat led has been called a slave rebellion, an slave insurrection, and a slave uprising. The word that really does strike me is slave. See, what the fuck was good about slavery? What made it wrong for Nat and the other people who were with him want to be free? Hmmmmm? Now lets go to another word which I see time and time again surrounding Nats glorious attempt to free my ancestors. That word is terrorize, as a matter of fact that word is still in play today in another form and it was used to succesfully lead the white people of this country into a senseless and futile war in recent years.Okay I wonder why it was wrong for Nat to do this when the very atmosphere of a black mans life in Amerikkka at that time was terror. See the trickory? As a matter of fact not much has changed for black people to this day.Look at how Obama is portrayed by the media and how he is viewed by your average white person. He is portrayed as ineffectual and the media has diassociated itself from him in various ways while feeding you just enough to make it seem that he has done nothing. I myself am not a fan of politricks cause I know what is going on, yet I will offer this... The white man is playing the race card and the black people are sleeping.Newt Gingrich will really put your ass back on the plantation really quick if he ever gets the chance but who won the primary last night? Obama has created jobs and economic growth but is that ever addressed by the white or even the black media? Hell no! Cause they want you to vote for who they approve. Yet even if you vote they can overturn that and put who they want in office.See? Fuckery plain and simple. So in closing this segment of the lesson I ask you the question... Who are your hero's and who approved them for you?HAMZAHFARUQ
[AN ALTERNATE BLACK STORY] A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL COURSE PLAN [THE INTRODUCTION]
THE MUSIC...
http://youtu.be/ALNF_DCg6VU

All right I have decided to do an alternate lesson plan in which African decendents are the hero's... and the victims.
yet my purpose is not to tear my people down but to build them up. First and foremost we must realise that almost everything that we have been taught of the black mans story in church and school is a lie. It has been brought to us by the same people who enslaved our ancestors and continues to enslave so many of us with psychological warfare.
The first thing that we must begin to overstand is that our heros do not have to conform to the white mans way of thinking. If the white man endorses it you had better believe that he is endorsing it because it benefits him... not you. Why do you think it is that all the heros that the white man teaches you about who are black come from the school of peace... of passivity ?
Yet look at his hero's George Washington, Andrew Jackson, both of whom were warriors in their own right.
Andrew Jackson was such a great man that he wore boots which had been made from the skin of a native American and he kept these boots in the white house on display.
Thomas Jefferson raped and impregnated a black woman, his ancestors were denied any of the assets of his estate and even the right to proclaim their relation to him until late in the last century. Now keep in mind that these are just two examples of how great the hero's of white society were. I will bring you more sparkling examples of the humility and gentleness of the white people as I bring this series to you.
I have said before that our hero's should not conform to the white mans agenda. They should conform to what is right and true and to what makes our people grow strong and prosperous. This has not been the case in the past.
Soooo, in the next few weeks I will be bringing you an all new set of black heroes and showing you an alternate version of our history so be prepared to talk and discuss the people and the concepts that are introduced.
Once again this is Hamzah Faruq saying "his story is not our story." Be blessed my people.
