[LEAVES OF DEAD LOVE]
THE MUSIC FOR THIS PIECE...
http://youtu.be/imNp42sA5mQ
Will I ever be able to see love as others do.. Rose scented candles and lavander baths as the orchestra plays its soothing notes.
Love that takes the heart and melts it down to be remolded into a caring place as described in tales of romance.
Love as spoken of in the Quran and the Bible where men were men and woman something beyond.
For all I have seen of love is underlying jealousy and deciet, divorce and heartbreak raining down like sharpened slivers of glass.
Crimes of passion and broken homes.
Long have I wondered who could ever truly love the griot... overstand his pressing need to speak to the masses... his need to have his own space.
A moment alone with the force of his force.
Love has so many faces as it shifts and transforms... reveals its true nature a second before becoming a secret again.
I cry for the masses who are able to see love as such a small thing... as so large a part of their lives.
Even the word has a soothing effect on those trapped in its hold... Love and they sigh.
Trapped in the notes of loves song.
I wonder... Will I ever be able to see love as others do?
All sugar coated and saturatingly sweet.
Will I?
