He comes from the most unlikely of places...
When the black government vehicles pull into the projects where he lives the drug dealers make hasty retreats but the agents ignore them.
It is not drugs they seek.
People come outside to see what is happening and they are surprised to see which door the two agents that lead the others  go to.
They knock and the woman who opens the door is surprised to see them standing there.
She is wary of them and they assure her that no one is in trouble.
She let's the two of them in and one of them asks to see her son, the oldest one, she asks why.
He explains that it is urgent.
She asks him again why and he tells her that he will explain everything if she and her son will come with them.
They hear reggae booming in one of the rooms.
She goes to the door and they hear her knock.
The music turns down and they hear a young man's vibrant voice say "What?"
"Boy I don't know what you done did but you need to open this damn door."
There is a pause and the agents hear the door open.
"What you want momma?"
"What the hell you done done?"
"I ain't done nothin momma. I just came home and started reading."
"Boy you better not be lying to me. I done told you bout hanging out with them damn thugs."
"Awww momma."
"Dont aww momma me boy.
Get yo ass out here and see what these people want."
"What people?"
The young man peeps his head out of the door and when he sees the agents he quickly steps out of the room and closes the door.
The agents catch a whiff of marijuana and incense as the young man walks towards them.
They hear other doors open and they see heads peeping out.
It is his sister and brother.
The young man reaches them and one of the agents looks at him and says his name.
"Kano Jones."
The young man looks at him and says "Yep."
"Sir, we need you to come with us.
It is a matter of national urgency."
Kano's mother looks at them and says "Cracker you must be crazy. My son ain't goin nowhere by himself with you."
"Miss Jones, you and your other children need to come as well, the agent who first spoke says.
My name is Donald Rucker and I work for the United States government, I assure you that your family will be well cared for.
She looks at them and says "What is this about? Is it about them damn spaceships?"
Rucker says, "Miss Jones we need you to cooperate with us."
She looks from the agents to her son and says "What do you wanna do."
Her son says "Lets see what they talkin bout."
There is something in his eyes that they agents hadn't noticed before.
Tucker notices it now.
He had known that they were coming.
