They walk up to Kano, a man and a woman and the clothes that they wear are reminiscent of ancient Egypt and the whole of Kemitic culture.
They are followed by warriors who look as if they have seen wars beyond the scale of anything on earth.
Some of them have cybernetic parts.
An arm, a leg, an eye.
The man and the woman walk up to Kano and bow and he bows back.
The man speaks and even though its in his language what is said stimulates something in his soul.
I am Hor-aha.
"It is good to meet you my brother."
He nods to the female beside him and says "This is my daughter, Benret.
We have traveled great distances to meet you and to let you know that you are not alone.
We have watched this planet for a millennia to see what fruit our seed would bear and now that we see we see that it is time to reverse the current situation.
We would like for you and your family to come to our ship where we can better explain what is happening."
Kano hears two things at the same time.
He hears his mother say "Well i'll be damned" and he hears his brother who is named Khalil say "cool!"
Fuller steps forth and says "As a representative of the U.S. government I would like to accompany these citizens if they are going to your ship.
We have no idea of what you could be doing to them or with them."
Hor-aha throws back his head and laughs.
"Look around you petty manlike creature. We did not need you to find this man and we really don't need you now.
The things that you speak of countries and sovereignities have no meaning anymore.
This is our planet and has been since before your kind came into existence.
There is nothing you can do to stop anything that is about to transpire.
I would advise you to remember that when speaking to me."
He says this in English and his accent plays well with the words.
He looks at Ramona and winks his eye.
"What do you think my sister?" He asks in his alien tongue.
Ramona nods.
She has only met two men with this presence in her life.
One is her son... The other was his father.
She says "Let only him come."
They board the ship and Benret guides them to their seats and they sit back as the ship accelerates at a rate unheard of on earth.
One minute they are in earths atmosphere and as they look out the windows it turns to the darkness of space which at this distance from the sun OS not really darkness.
They reach the mothership in moments and they see the vast armada of smaller ships that surround it.
The mothership is huge indeed and Kano asks how many people it holds.
Benret says "500 thousand. And they all know their duties.
There are whole generations of families on this ship.
It has been their home for generations."
Kano says "So you have lived on this ship all your lives?"
Benret replies "Yes and no. We have a home planet.
It is light years away in the Serius system.
You will see it soon."
They dock and the doors to the ship open.
Benret stands and says to Kano and his family.
"Come." They stand and walk with Hor-aha to the doors and look into the vast docking bay where there are thousands of people standing in silence.
Hor-aha speaks and his voice is amplified by a device he touches as it hangs on his neck.
He waves at Kano and says "These ate our lost ones. They have come home.
The crowds of people cheer and Hor-aha says to Kano.
Welcome home my little brother.
