Vitality bears up, withstands, sustains ... and not for it's own stance alone. Sustenance isn't speaking of a single meal, but of the field and wintered roots, cellar of seeds... fear says 'hurry, find a root!' and then consumes it, before hurrying off to find another... love plants even the withered root, warms the soil, makes a tea of blossoms, and watches smiling as the winged ones dance life pollenating flowers to close, to unfold as fruit, and feasts.. still shelling some remaining seeds while waiting for the soup to come to boil...

Joy is a tree that grows in the face of controversy... drinking... drinking of the sustenance... Boiling in the cauldron of this related emotional as pieces of aromatic spices float in the liquid and flavor the air... Filtering green and lush in a jungle where the leaves filter the sunlight and harbor ecosystems which depend on sympathy and empathy... nuts which drop to the uncaring ground... Waiting for a few drops of rain.

These seeds that grow unabated on the dance floor of all this insanity... naked to the forces of nature that rage within these windswept hulls... That pounds in these fragile cores... Where we linger.
