IF

[IF]

THE MUSIC

IF I COULD WALK ON WATER I WOULD WALK TO AFRICA.
TRACE THE SAME PATH THAT THE SHIPS TOOK THAT STOLE MY FAMILY FROM DISTANT SHORES.
I WOULD REACH INTO THE WAVES AND PICK UP THE BONES THAT LITTER THE OCEAN FLOOR.
WHEN I REACH THE BEACHES OF THE MOTHERLAND I WOULD FALL DOWN AND MAKE SALAT...BEFORE I PLACED THE REMAINS IN THE SOIL OF OUR BIRTH.
WATER AND DIRT THAT MADE THE CLAY OF WE.
I WOULD WALK UNTIL THE BOOTS THAT I WEAR BECAME TATTERED SHREDS.
IF I COULD WALK ON WATER I WOULD WALK TO AFRICA
