THE WORD WAS DESIRE...
We want these things...these things we see...the things that make us be.
Small and insignifigant...yet they hold so much of who we are.
A bauble in the ripple of time...a shiny rock on a womans finger...a fast car for a man as he lives out his phallic dream.
Allah in the very molecules that make up the sand on a beautiful beach as the sun burns in thermonuclear splender.
Suspended as the birds in the air...thermals that take them to the limits of mans vision.
Working so hard for so many things that could be lived without...a big screen plasma t.v.
And what of those who need...those who just need so bad...living off of the scraps of all we wanted.
A desire to rise from the depths of poverty and just be...a little of the pie would taste so good.
A desire to be free from the constraints of a want filled society...where so many have to suffer to feed the machine.
We want these things.
