What words can be ripped from the air that swirls around this dome that can aptly describe the magnifigence that is the African queen?
What letters that have not been used to describe the beauty of thine existence on this floating rock where we were placed as companions in a garden of plenty.
I mean what can I say that will free the queens and loose the kings that have served in bondage and built whole nations.
If I talk of the history of we, I mean the highs and the lows...the ups and downs...the in and outs of our time together.
Would it make a difference?
Would it make thee hold thy head a little bit higher as thou walkest in Babylon, a piece of regality that shines so bright that thou lightest the way for our escape?
A chapter for a holy book in a far distant future where black is far more than the color of our skin.
A word in a dictionary with such a dirty definition.
A road that leads away from the triple stages of darkness that seem to have enveloped such a mighty people who once erected institutions of thought that became world religions.
A force that spans the whole of this universe and beyond...falling in and out of time, born... dead... reborn.
To capture these thoughts as they flow on the ether of living...god manifest in the marrow of all these bones.
Those are the words that I would rip from thin air and place in thy mind to describe the glory that is thee African queen.
Be ye freed
